The EAFA members and their products

The European Aluminium Foil Association (EAFA) is made up of more than 100 members from Western, Central and Eastern Europe. The membership comprises foil rollers (in all thicknesses up to 0.2mm - the ISO standard maximum), manufacturers of aluminium foil containers, household foil and all kind of flexible packaging: Founded in 1974 it has its roots in associations dating back to the 1920s. Today EAFA comprises:

Container Group

which represents about 82% of the foil container manufacturing capacity in Europe, specialises in the manufacture of foil trays and dishes as well as lidding materials and systems which help their customers, food processors and retailers, pack and present their products to the public.

Rewinder Group

members are the producers of aluminium household foil for the retailing sector as well as for catering. They represent approximately 75 % of European production. In direct contact with the end-consumers their products are public symbols for the aluminium foil industry.

Roller Group

members are the originators and suppliers of the plain aluminium foil and thin strip materials which are then processed by converters, container or household foil manufacturers. They represent 97% of the alufoil rolling capacity in Western, Central and Eastern Europe.

Flexible Packaging Europe (FPE)

members represent companies that manufacture all types of flexible packaging including pouches, sachets, liquid packaging, confectionery and pharmaceutical packaging applications, and much more. FPE comprises all major European producers of flexible packaging for all materials.
